Position Description

The Senior Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the marketing and communications efforts of Hensel Phelps and in assisting to lead company-wide marketing campaigns, social media activities, industry communications, events and related activities. The Senior Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing & Communications team at the Corporate Office. Charged with upholding the company’s brand through company-wide internal and external marketing and communication outreach, and client and business development. These marketing professionals are “all in” and have the opportunity to do a little bit of everything. This position requires the exercise of judgment, discretion and creativity to support strategic marketing campaigns, corporate marketing collateral, including for social media, coordinating events, visiting jobsites for photo and video campaign shoots and supporting community volunteer efforts.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, or other related majors with a concentration requiring strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

  • 6 years of experience and/or a combination of education and experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines and accommodate shifting priorities

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficient organizational skills.

  • Competent in conducting research and applying analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Skillful in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

  • Knowledge in graphic layout capabilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

Essential Duties:

  • Oversite of the employee portal content

  • Oversite of the website and analytics for the website

  • Social Media monitoring

  • Cultivate and enhance internal and external relationships.

  • Acts as a strong ambassador, curator, ensuring consistency in corporate image and brand throughout all online activities and events.

  • Create articles and white papers promote brand awareness.
