Position Description:

The Marketing and Communications Manager is a key member of the marketing team that is charged with growing the company’s presence in the region through client development, marketing and communication outreach, and project procurement. These marketing professionals are “all in” and have the opportunity to do a little bit of everything. The marketing and communications manager manages the marketing and communications team to develop, maintain and implement marketing plans at the regional level while seamlessly coordinating with other regional and departments to ensure strategic alignment with corporate and regional initiatives.

Position Qualification:

  • Oversite of the employee portal content

  • Oversite of the website and analytics for the website

  • Social Media monitoring

  • Cultivate and enhance internal and external relationships.

  • Acts as a strong ambassador, curator, ensuring consistency in corporate image and brand throughout all online activities and events.

  • Create articles and white papers promote brand awareness.

Essential Duties:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Journalism, Business Administration, or other related majors with a

  • 6 years of experience and/or a combination of education and experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines and accommodate shifting priorities

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficient organizational skills.

  • Competent in conducting research and applying analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Skillful in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)

  • Knowledge in graphic layout capabilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).

As a result, salaried employees are eligible for paid time off beginning upon hire. Salaried positions (project engineers and above) participate in an annual bonus plan, subject to company and employee performance. Salaried employees are also eligible for a company cell phone or cell phone allowance in accordance with company policy. Further, salaried employees also receive either a vehicle or vehicle allowance in accordance with Hensel Phelps’ policies. Based on position location, a cost of living adjustment (COLA) may also be included (subject to periodic review and adjustment).
