Hensel Phelps IT Operation Engineer Level 1 in Bellevue, Washington
Hensel Phelps, a global building services provider, is hiring an IT Operations Engineer Lvl 1 for the Bellevue, WA office that is a team player, self-starter and possesses strong troubleshooting logic and customer service skills. Travel throughout the Pacific Northwest region is required. Primary functions of the position include: providing support to end users (employees and partners) both in the district office and at remote jobsites; design, installation and maintenance of VOIP/server/network environments both in the district office and jobsites; configuration of new users and devices; development of innovative strategies to enhance the experience and productivity of our employees and partners.
The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set and attributes:
A college degree in computer Information Systems or similar, or 5+ years of full-time tier-1 and 2 IT support experience
United States Citizen
Valid driver license and dependable transportation
Wired and Wi-Fi networking, security protocols, implementation, and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge of IP address resolution, subnet mask, TCP/IP, SNMP, UDP protocols
Basic knowledge of OS imaging and sysprep
PC hardware and operating system deployment (up to Windows 10) and troubleshooting
Data recovery procedures
Task-oriented with strong organizational skills
Enterprise software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Microsoft Office (up to Office 365) and email basics
Microsoft Office 365 Administration
Windows 2008/2016 Server Administration with server backups
VMWare ESXi Virtualization technologies
Understanding Cisco router technologies
Web browser functionality and support
Anti-virus installation and virus removal
Willingness to travel to jobsites as required
Set up users in Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365
Understanding of the Construction industry and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus, but not required.
